Recording & Tracking

  • Comprehensive knowledge and experience in modern studio mic’ing techniques and placement.

  • Thorough understanding of proper Gain Staging and routing through pre-amps, analog consoles such as the SSL Origin, as well as modern day digital audio interfaces.

  • Certified training and experience in using Pro Tools, as well as various other Digital Audio Workstations.

  • Thorough understanding of digital file management.

Mixing

  • Proficient at editing and cleaning up audio files to remove unwanted background noise and mistakes.

  • The ability to use industry techniques such as step compression, equalization, saturation and limiting etc., to allow audio files to punch through and sound their absolute best withing a song.

  • Extensive experience in combining audio frequencies and textures in order to create the best sonic mix of your music possible.

Music Production

  • Extensive knowledge of various music production DAWs and equipment such as Reason, FL Studio, Ableton Live and Akai MPC software and hardware.

  • Production credits on songs from multiple genres and collaborations with various artists including but not limited to beat making and composition.

  • Educated in Music Theory with a working understanding of notes, scales and harmonies.​

  • Industry quality sounds.

Song Writing

  • A registered BMI writer with over 100 writing credits.

  • Educated in Creative Writing with a focus on Poetry and Character Building.

  • The ability to write from multiple perspectives including male and female.

Location Sound

  • Trained in art of Location Sound Recording.

  • Understanding of proper Lav and Boom mic operation and mic’ing techniques.

  • In depth knowledge of the operation of the Zoom F8N recorder.

  • Versed in on set procedures and etiquette.

ADR

  • Practiced in the art of Automated Dialog replacement and Post Production for TV and movies.

  • Experience recording and mixing Dialog and aligning it to a time code using Pro Tools.

  • Understanding of tools such as Izotope RX and Vocalign to edit and replace dialog.

  • Able to create and add various background sounds, effects and music to TV and Film.

  • Adept at mixing all sounds into a comprehensive motif to make film sound as good as imagined by the director and producers.
